Success coaching for peak performance

Is it possible that Tiger Woods chooses to be a winner of golf majors and Colin Montgomerie chooses to be a loser of golf majors? Think of a time when Woods hits a bad ball or has a bad hole. On the next tee he plays as if he is about to win the Open. When Montgomerie plays a bad hole, the chances are that the next hole will be a bad hole too. We are sure that consciously Colin does not believe he chooses to lose and yet this behaviour shows up and produces the same results time after time.

What behaviours show up in our lives as pressured executives with many layers of complexity in our daily work? What choices are we making that lead us to breakthrough performance? What choices are we making that limit us and hold us back to produce average results?

At the The Freedom Factory we firmly believe that it is possible to make these choices a conscious effort. We also know that awareness precedes action and our coaching style is to follow a process of inquiry to create awareness of the references we use sub-consciously to make choices. We will support you in bringing some of these references to a conscious level and fine tune them to support outstanding choices to bring about outstanding results. More importantly, it is not just about outstanding results, it is about achieving these results on a consistent basis. That is what makes a true peak performer.

Approach

The Freedom Factory works with individuals and groups, in companies and partnerships, to create awareness of the impact of our state of mind, our mindset, on our ability to achieve peak performance. The focus is on experiential learning, each technique annotated with real corporate experience supported by exercises to embed the awareness that has been created.

The Freedom Factory supports individuals on an ongoing basis exploring where specific limiting beliefs may be blocking success; or working to refine personal goals creating a measurable and achievable development plan. In addition we work with management lines, teams and wider groups to create a better understanding within the groups. The references we use as individuals can create hidden friction in management lines or groups even in commonly held beliefs and values. We will use a process of inquiry to explore these references and create awareness of where they are collectively resourceful and where they create potential disharmony.

The Freedom Factory will work with you as an individual for an initial session to introduce ourselves and to understand and establish the objectives for the coaching work. We will ask you to complete an assessment about your current situation. Based on the initial assessment, together we will develop a programme of change to support you in achieving your goals and provide a regular check-in process to track progress. We will work with you to ensure that your goals are realistic, stretching and measurable.

For a group a typical engagement is to observe the group or management line working together in a meeting or working environment and to then present a potential action plan to the group and individuals to work through together. This will be done through a series of workshops or off-site events. These will be specifically tailored to the client situation.

Typical engagements are four to six sessions initially spread over two or three months.
